Holiday Tracel privacy policy

This policy applies to the Android app Holiday Tracel, provided by MheeK-Apps (Michel Mathieu). The app is offered “as is” on Google Play.

Summary

Holiday Tracel is built so trip finances stay on your device unless you choose optional features that need the network (Google Play Billing, advertising, receipt scanning, or cloud backup). We do not operate a Holiday Tracel user account on our own servers.

Google Play Data safety for this app currently declares collection of location, app activity, and device or other IDs; encryption in transit; and no data sold. That Play form is the store-facing declaration and may be updated independently of this page.

Data stored on your device

Depending on how you use the app, it may store locally:

• Trips, expenses, merchants, categories, notes, and cash balances
• Currencies and conversion values you use
• Map-related locations you attach to spend
• Receipt images you capture, and OCR results from those images
• App settings, including biometric lock preferences
• Exports you create (CSV, PDF, or spreadsheet files)
• Play Billing entitlement state for Premium

Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes local data unless you previously exported it or enabled a backup you control.

Permissions and optional network features

• Location — only if you use map or place features for expenses.
• Camera / photos — only if you scan or attach receipts.
• Biometric / device lock — processed on the device to hide totals; we do not receive fingerprint or face data.
• Google Play Billing — to offer, restore, or verify Premium.
• Cloud backup / Drive — only if you switch on optional backup or sync. Backup content then follows Google’s terms for that account.
• Advertising — the Play listing states that the app contains ads. Ads may be served by Google advertising services and may use an advertising identifier. You can limit ad personalisation in Android settings. We do not invent or publish an AdMob publisher ID on this page.

Children

Holiday Tracel is not directed at children. Do not use it if you are not allowed to do so under applicable law.

Sharing and sale

MheeK-Apps does not sell your trip ledger. Data leaves the device when you use optional network features (Play, ads, OCR, backup) or when you yourself export or share a file.

Third-party services

• Google Play / Play Billing — distribution and purchases
• Google advertising services — if ads are shown
• Google Drive or similar — only if you enable backup

Those services have their own privacy policies.

Security

Protect the device with a lock screen. Treat unencrypted exports and receipt photos as sensitive. No method of storage is perfectly secure.

Your rights and choices

You can export or delete trips in the app and clear app data in Android settings. For privacy questions, email mheek.apps@gmail.com.

Changes

Updates will be published at https://mheek-apps.com/holiday-tracel/privacy.html with a new effective date.
